Frequently Asked Questions

I utilize a compassionate, eclectic and trauma-formed approach that blends several evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, SE, ART, CBT, and IFS. Therapy with me is relational, collaborative, and tailored to your specific needs.
-
In our first session, we'll explore what's bringing you to therapy, talk about your history, and begin identifying your goals. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how your therapist works. Together, we'll build a plan that feels aligned and supportive of your growth.
-
This varies depending on your goals, the nature of what you're working on, and your preferences. Some clients come for a few focused sessions; others choose longer-term support. We'll check in regularly about your progress and adapt as needed.

I take insurance with Aetna and Cigna. I can also provide a superbill for you to submit for out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance provider to understand your specific coverage. -
Getting started is simple. You can easily book a free 15-minute consultation call by sending me an email with your availability. Once we find a time that talk, we will briefly discuss what you are wanting to work on in therapy, answer any questions you may have and, if it’s a good fit, I’ll email you the initial paperwork and schedule our first appointment. If I’m not the best fit for you, I will happily provide a list of referrals for providers who may be a better fit.
